Your food logs and photos are stored on this device.
They are not uploaded to Zemmi’s servers. There is no account to create, and the app ships without advertising or analytics code.
Because the data lives only here, it does not sync to your other devices, and it goes if this device does. Back it up to keep a copy.
Everything you enter is written to your browser’s own storage on this device:
Date of birth is stored and shown in your profile. Nothing in Zemmi is age-based, so it is never used to calculate anything.
Photos you add are resized and re-encoded by your own device before being saved. That keeps them small, and it also removes the embedded camera information, including any GPS location your camera recorded. Photos are never sent anywhere.
The first time you open Zemmi you are asked, once, whether you would like an email when new features land. It is genuinely optional. You can leave it blank or tap skip, and the app works identically either way.
If you do enter an email, it is sent to Web3Forms, a form-delivery service, which forwards it to my inbox. What is stored is the address itself, the fact you ticked the consent box, and the time you did. Nothing about your baby, your foods or your photos is included, and the address is never linked to any of it.
It is used to tell you when something new ships, and once to ask what is annoying you about the app. Nothing else, and never passed to anyone. Reply to any email and I will delete you from the list.
Notes are stored exactly as you type them and are never interpreted. If you write something about a reaction or a symptom, Zemmi records it and does nothing else with it. It stays on your device, and it is included in any backup file you choose to create.
When you make a backup, Zemmi builds a file and hands it to your device. Where that file then goes is up to you. If you save it to a cloud drive or send it to someone, it leaves your device at that point, so treat a backup as you would any personal file.
The app itself is served as static files. Like any website, the host records ordinary technical request logs such as IP address and browser type. Those logs are about fetching the page, not about your baby’s journey, and none of your entries are ever part of a request.
Open More and choose Clear all data. That erases everything from this device immediately and cannot be undone. Uninstalling the app or clearing your browser’s site data has the same effect.
Zemmi is used by a parent or carer to keep their own record. It is not intended to be used by children, and it collects nothing from the child beyond what the adult chooses to write down.
Not medical advice. Zemmi is a tracking and memory tool only. It does not provide medical, nutritional or feeding advice and does not tell you when, whether or how to introduce or serve foods. If you have concerns about allergies, feeding, nutrition, choking, reactions or your child’s health, seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
